Kyabje Khensur Jhado Chogtrul Rinpoche
Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche is widely regarded as one of the great living masters of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Born near Namtso Lake in Tibet and recognized as the reincarnation of the abbot of Jhado Monastery, Rinpoche completed his rigorous studies at Sera Je Monastery earning the highest Geshe Lharampa degree, and continued his studies at Gyuto Tantric College. He later served as the Abbot of Namgyal Monastery—the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama—and has received extensive transmissions and empowerments from His Holiness and many of Tibet’s most revered lineage holders. Renowned for his vast learning, meditative realization, and extraordinary kindness, Jhado Rinpoche embodies the qualities of wisdom and compassion that define a true master of our time.
